Some old fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat. – Laura Ingalls Wilder
Spring finally arrived in Texas! It has been warm, humid, and sunny! After all the rain, the grass is so incredibly green. Wildflowers are popping up, birds are chirping, the earth is coming back to life. That is what I love about spring – to see everything coming back to life. It truly feels like the beginning of a new year. And it means that summer is right around the corner.
Chance is doing better. He is back to work, finally. Hopefully our show year will start soon. I am in no rush though. I am simply enjoying riding in the far more enjoyable weather! It rarely stays cold for so long in Texas, and all the rain was just depressing. But the sun finally came out, and it has been beautiful.
Happy spring, everyone!
So lovely! I can’t wait for green :). Glad to hear he is doing better. Any idea what was causing the issues?

I am pretty sure that it was from my saddle. He has filled out, and put on quite a bit of muscle since I have had him so it seems to no longer fit him. I had checked it and it seemed fine, but I am thinking it was pinching him somewhere. I have been riding in another for the past week and he has been perfectly sound and happy. Hopefully, that’s all it was!

Lovely weather! Hopefully Virginia will be right behind, it’s been snowing here all day and I’m ready for spring!
