Race Week

I am running Ten for Texas on Saturday! It’s been a year since I have raced last, and I am not quite as prepared as I normally am. I actually just started training a month ago. However, I am feeling pretty good. My body seems to remember this whole running thing! I had a decent eight mile run on Sunday, so I think ten miles this Saturday should be doable!

The plan for this week is to get lots of rest, and to do lots of yoga and stretching; and of course a little running. I am planning to ride Thursday and Friday. Chance has been a little sore, probably due to his fall wildness, but hopefully getting a few days off this week will help.

This will likely not be my best race since I am a little under-prepared, but I am planning to start out slow and just have fun on Saturday!
