If we work hard everything will work out, right? I do not believe this to be completely true, despite what so many say. Hard work isn’t always enough.

We can do absolutely everything right, and life can still knock us down. I know that I have felt, at times, that things just go wrong no matter what I do! Sometimes it is just one thing right after another, especially with horses. Sometimes everything will be going great then BAM a problem, or a setback, that I have absolutely no control over.

Hard work, and showing up for our goals, is so important as I said in yesterday’s post, Keep Showing Up. Today though, I wanted to add that we also need faith!

Life will never be perfect, no matter how hard we work, but Jesus is ALWAYS with us. He is here to lean on, and to guide us. He loves us so much.

“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.” – Luke 17:6

There isn’t much we can’t do if we have faith, and are willing to lean on Jesus! We have to work hard, and trust that He is working for us (and in our lives). We have to show up every day, in spite of setbacks and problems, with the knowledge that Jesus has our back.

Hard work is important, but it is not enough without faith! If life has been knocking you down lately, have faith and keep showing up!! Jesus will bring you through it!
