There is so much green in this dish! Greens are one of the best things we can put in our bodies!
This is sautéed asparagus, Brussels sprouts, tempeh and kale over brown rice. Cooked in toasted sesame oil, seasoned with sea salt, garlic powder, grated ginger, and tamari (gluten free soy sauce),
Cook the asparagus and Brussels sprouts first covered, stirring occasionally. Add the sea salt, garlic powder, and ginger. Once asparagus and Brussels sprouts soften, add the tempeh. Cover and stir occasionally. Once the tempeh browns, add the kale and tamari. Stir and cover till the kale wilts!
Most of the meals I make are pretty simple. Simple foods, simple cooking methods. Simple, whole food meals tend to be very healthy though! They are low in calories, and high in nutrients. Using simple ingredients while cooking is a trick for keeping meals healthy!
