I think that God had a lot of fun creating animals, especially horses! I think that He wanted us to have a connection with them. It is fascinating all that horses are willing to do for us. They are willing to do things that go against their very nature as prey animals.

I also think that He placed a little extra passion for animals in some of our hearts – to care for them and help them.

I have always felt such a great connection to animals, and that a part of my purpose is to help them in some way. I am not sure what that looks like, but I do know that lots of animals are in my future! Perhaps it is just helping one at a time, like my rescue dog, Khloe. Or perhaps it will be on a grander scale someday. I think that when we follow our passions, we find our purpose.
